Small Groups - Bible Studies

The small group ministry of our church is vital to its health and growth. It is there that we may band together with an intimate group of people and support, challenge and engage each other. This is another avenue to worship God and get connected into the church community. If you have any general questions about any of the small groups below you can contact the church office or the leader listed.

Mondays
	Edwards' Bible Study at 7:15pm: This group has been a long standing Adult Bible study which has focused over the years on a variety of guided scripture studies, dvd instructional aids, and outside book reading. Most of us have been meeting for almost 10 years but new members always welcome. This group meets at the Edwards home. Call 818-707-4519 for more info/directions.
Tuesdays
	Early Morning Bible Study at 6:45am: If you are interested in an in-depth study of the bible, then this is the ideal group for you. Many of the individuals in this group are part of the work force and enjoy the opportunity to participate in this early morning study when evening hours may be difficult to commit to. This group is held at CVCC and is facilitated by Dianne Estes. Call the church office at 805-381-0484 for more information.
	Miskos' Bible Study at 7:00pm: An Adult Group focused on in-depth study of the Bible. Currently we are studying Psalms. This group is held at the Misko home. Call 805-373-8998 for more info/directions.
Wednesdays
	Women's Bible Study at 9:00am: This study is made up of a diverse group of women coming together for fellowship, friendship and focus on many topics pertinent in Christian Living today. Many different topic studies have been used to date. This group is held at the home of April Gregoire and is facilitated by Vicki Satterlee (805-523-3139). Call for more information.
	Women's Afternoon Bible Fellowship at 12:30pm: This group is a Fellowship in the true sense of the word. We come together and spend time sharing about our lives, ministering and coming along side each other in our daily lives. We then spend time studying various books in the bible. Thursdays
	Smith's Bible Study at 7:00pm: This adult Bible study group is comprised of people from many different backgrounds and life situations; singles, young marrieds, families and more. We generally use material that focuses on different books of the bible however tangents are always welcomed and explored! This group meets at the Smith's home (Bob and Valri). Saturday (Once a Month)
	Hidden Treasures is for women 50+ from our community who get together one Saturday a month in the Youth Hall from 12-3 to eat great food, fellowship, sing the old hymns, and share prayer requests. Small Groups - Prayer Groups "We are a praying Church!" This is a statement that you will often hear said by many of the members and attendees of this church. As a church family we have seen the power that prayer has in our daily lives, in times of sickness, in times of rejoicing and as a way to get closer to our Lord. Throughout the year we hold prayer vigils focusing on the various ministries the church participates in and the different needs it faces. You are invited to participate in the prayer life of our church through any of the below prayer groups.
